I keep learning from every job I do how to be even more effective. Of course, every client is different, and I adapt to their needs. Some people, like this client, wanted to be with me the whole time, and so we were able to very quickly get unneeded items boxed up and stored for later sorting.
Other people don’t have time to do much, and they want me to do most of the work. I sort things in ways that they can easily decide what to keep, recycle, give away, store in various categories, or even sort later.
I’ve realized after decades of experience that making decisions about hundreds of items has to be as stress free as possible so the client can keep moving. I like to work long days and see really big results. My clients are consistently surprised that the transformation I can make even in a few hours.
